In 2006 Nora Dunn sold everything she owned to pursue her dream of traveling full-time. She's been on the road since, having lived in or traveled through over 40 countries and counting.
In looking for a culturally immersive experience that allowed her to stay for a while in her chosen destinations, she discovered a variety of techniques to get free accommodation around the world such as volunteering, house-sitting, living on boats, hospitality exchanges, and more. Concurrently to her full-time travels, she developed a location independent business as a freelance writer. She parlayed her financial expertise into the travel realm to write about the finance of travel for both travel and finance magazines and websites, such as Wise Bread, Capital One, Amex, Travel+Escape, Transitions Abroad, Vagabondish, Credit Walk, Flight Network, and many more.
Today, Nora is still roaming the world, traveling slowly with no fixed address. You can find out about her latest adventures, get financial travel tips, subscribe to her free e-course on financially sustainable full-time travel, and find all kinds of resources on her website, The Professional Hobo.
